10 June 2020 | 10-11.30am

This event is for UKSSD partners and invited guests

This session will consolidate the outcomes of the previous four discussions, and building on UKSSD’s existing priorities and the work of our Food Systems programme, identify a set of cross-cutting asks for future advocacy work with the UK Government.

This event will be conducted via Zoom and participants will be sent joining details closer to the time.

Please note: This event is for UKSSD partners and invited guests. Event spaces are very limited, and wherever possible we will allocate spaces to organisations with expertise relevant to the discussion. Please help us ensure that each event is full by only registering your interest if you are certain you are able to attend.

About the event series

The Sustainable Development Goals provide us with a readymade framework to build a better future post-pandemic, ensuring that our recovery is both green and socially just for all people.

As UKSSD works with allies and partners to advocate for the use of the SDGs at local and national level, we want to explore some of the intricacies of how the SDGs can inform the pandemic recovery and what this would mean in practice for government policy and for organisations.

Join us for a series of in-depth discussions as we explore how the SDGs can help us build a better future post-pandemic.

The events are themed around key aspects of recovery and in short and focused discussions we’ll identify key recommendations for action from government and organisations. Participants can take part in forming these and identify further opportunities to work together in the future.
