Celtic v Aberdeen live streaming – where to watch Scottish Cup on TV

Celtic take a breather from an intense Scottish Premiership title race as they face Aberdeen at Hampden Park in the semi-finals of the Scottish Cup.

Brendan Rodgers’ return to Parkhead looked on track to be a disaster when Rangers, guided by new manager Philippe Clement, overcame a seven-point gap to win the SPFL Premiership.

The Celts are hitting peak form as we head into the home straight of the season. They enter this contest on a high following an important 3-3 draw at Ibrox in this month’s Old Firm Derby.

Brendan Rodgers’ side followed it up with a 3-0 victory over St. Mirren, moving four points clear of Rangers at the top of the league table as we enter the post-split fixture list.

The Light Blues have suffered a slump in form in recent weeks, with the season’s final derby yet to be played at Celtic Park.

There could yet be another Old Firm derby in the Scottish Cup finale, with the rivals in the semis facing Aberdeen and Hearts, respectively, both of whom are looking to cause a remarkable upset this weekend.

The Dons have already begun preparing for next season, with the announcement earlier this week that Elfsborg boss Jimmy Thelin will take over in the summer.

Having secured an admirable third-place finish last season, it has been an underwhelming campaign for Aberdeen, despite making it to the League Cup final.

They are in the Premiership’s bottom half and remain vulnerable to relegation, with second-bottom Ross County only five points behind them, while they only managed a solitary Europa Conference League group-stage victory.
