Paddington Development Trust (PDT) is a registered Charity and not-for-profit community-based regeneration company with socio-economic objectives. It has been, and will continue to be actively engaged in the economic, environmental and social regeneration of the North Westminster and wider west London area over the next 15 years.

It has five core values: sharing resources; community empowerment; financial self-sufficiency; environmental
sustainability and equal opportunities for all communities. PDT is committed to an equitable distribution of justice and
power in all its work

Paddington Development Trust and the Sustainable Development Goals 

GOAL 1: No Poverty
PDT works in some of the poorest neighbourhoods in London and the UK. Our approach is based on empowering both individuals and communities through social and economic projects that give people the means to improve material circumstances and inclusion into mainstream norms. Focusing on economically inactive ethnic minority women, long term unemployed people and those furthest from the the labour market we provide relationship-based support and access to training, jobs and enterprise.

GOAL 2: Zero Hunger
PDT supports local food banks

GOAL 3: Good Health and Well-being
PDT works with Pubic Health, CCGs and local CVS organisations to train local volunteers as Community Health Champions who work in the community dissembling health messages and support to neighbours and family networks.

GOAL 5: Gender Equality
PDT actively supports GE at all levels of its operations.

GOAL 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth

GOAL 9: Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure
PDT has been and will be involved in local industry, innovation and developing local infrastructure commensurate with needs of the local community.

PDT has and will continue to champion equalities across local communities

PDT won the City of London Sustainable Communities award in 2015

GOAL 15: Life on Land
PDT works to bring green policies and projects across local communities

PDT is committed to social justice and the strengthening of local institutions to deliver peace to local communities

GOAL 17: Partnerships to achieve the Goal
PDT maintains close working partnerships with a range of other community-based and national organisations
