Join the UKSSD team and help us develop our plan for the SDGs in the UK!

We’ve got an exciting secondment opportunity with our team to help us deliver our project to develop a plan for the SDGs in the UK and support our Network Director.  

What we’re looking for

  • We’re looking for a great communicator to help coordinate and facilitate the delivery of the national plan project and support our Network Director. This could include:
    • Project management
    • Liaising with partners and network members
    • Event management
    • Communications activities including social media and website management
    • Research into UK policy landscape
  • The ideal candidate will have knowledge of the SDGs and have an interest in developing their skills in policy or communications. It's the perfect opportunity for an early career professional. 
  • 0.4 to 1 FTE commitment per week for a 6-month period

  • Acknowledgement to your organisation for their support and contribution to UKSSD in the report and online

We are happy to discuss different approaches we can take to deliver our activities and are very grateful for the existing offers of support we’ve had. In this instance, we are looking for a regular, weekly, commitment of a minimum of two days to ensure we have some consistency and provide our Network Director with the support she needs. We are happy to consider Master’s placements when this is funded but do not take on voluntary placements or unpaid interns.
