Everton FC TV details

Everton will be without Nathan Patterson and Youssef Chermiti, and Jarrad Branthwaite continues his recovery from a groin surgery, as confirmed by Sean Dyche.

Seamus Coleman and James Garner are also doubtful due to calf injuries, while newcomers Jake O’Brien, Tim Iroegbunam, and Jesper Lindstrom might make their Premier League debuts.

Brighton FC form

Brighton will be missing Evan Ferguson due to a foot injury, with Pervis Estupinan also sidelined with an ankle issue. Both Solly March and Julio Enciso are recovering from knee injuries, and there are concerns over the fitness of Tariq Lamptey and Billy Gilmour for the match.

Last season, Everton narrowly avoided relegation, and if not for two points deductions, they would have finished in 12th place, level on points with Brighton.

Their strong home performances were crucial, as they won their final five home league matches without conceding a goal, including a notable 2-0 victory over Liverpool.

Brighton enters the season under the guidance of new manager Hurzeler, who took over from Roberto De Zerbi.

With an aim to bolster their away performance, which saw only three wins in 2024, Hurzeler will be tested early in his tenure.
