The Villa have endured a difficult time of things lately, as they have struggled for consistency, notably at their fortress, Villa Park, where they have lost four of their previous five games, including a bitter 4-0 loss to top-four rivals Tottenham Hotspurs after captain John McGinn lost his cool and saw red.
